International Reaction to Israeli Brutality
Every country in the world, except Israel, has endorsed U.N. resolutions calling for the immediate and unconditional withdrawal of the Israeli army from Southern Lebanon. Israel has ignored these resolutions in defiance of the international community. Unfortunately, the US and other superpowers have not been implementing these resolutions. Similar resolutions were passed by the U.N. calling for Serb withdrawal from Bosnia and for Iraqi withdrawal from Kuwait. Both resolutions had just as wide an acceptance by the international community, but unlike the other situations, the US has failed in forcing the Israelis to withdraw from Lebanon.
